David L. Walker, PhD

David L. Walker, PhD, researches the neural circuitry and pharmacology of fear and anxiety as well as fear learning. The D. Walker lab studies fear in rodents using lights, tones and other cues. By understanding the basis of fear and anxiety, Dr. Walker hopes his research will lead to treatments for fear and anxiety related disorders.

Dr. Walker collaborates with a number of researchers at Yerkes, including Drs. Michael Davis and Kerry Ressler.
