Biography
Dr. Deepa Machiah Kodandera joined the Molecular pathology Laboratory at the Emory National Primate Research Center in August 2011. She earned her doctorate in Biochemistry from University of Mysore, Karnataka, India, and performed her postdoctorate work at the Emory Vaccine Center before joining the Molecular Pathology lab.
Dr. Kodandera's primary focus in the laboratory is to develop new diagnostic and research protocols and provide immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization services to Emory researchers. She also oversees and assists the laboratory externs performing research projects in the lab.
