Yerkes National Primate Research Center, Emory University
954 Gatewood Rd., NE, Atlanta, GA 30329.

6) Your Services will be scheduled according to arrival in the Lab. If you have a deadline for results, please let us know during your initial contact. We ask all investigators to plan ahead and submit samples in time to meet their research objectives.

7) After your requests are completed, you will be billed at the end of the month.

Guidelines for frozen sectioning:

1) We use standard size Fisher Superfrost slides. To guarantee quality sectioning, number of sections per slide is completely at the discretion of the histologist. Assume it will be "1" and order accordingly.

2) We can cut from different layers of a tissue sample and will use up the entire block in the process. These slides will be numbered sequentially according to where in the block they were cut.

3) Please bring your blocks in a styrofoam container with dry ice that is large enough to contain the boxes of cut slides as well. If you are unable to leave this container with us for any reason bring it back at the time of collection with fresh dry ice.

4) All slides are post fixed for 7 minutes in acetone unless otherwise requested.

5) Thank you for working with us :)
