Yerkes director, Stuart Zola, PhD, presented to the National Advisory Research Resources Council meeting on January 30, 2008. The meeting included
presentations about research conducted at the National Primate Research
Centers (NPRCs) and challenges and opportunities related to the
Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) program.
Four of the NPRC Directors, including Dr. Zola, highlighted the wide range of research, directed towards both infectious and noninfectious diseases, that is being conducted at their Centers.
