SciFest All Access 2020

NPRCs Participate in SciFest All Access 2020

Under normal circumstances, the USA Science and Engineering Festival is held every other year in Washington, D.C., and representatives from the seven National Primate Research Centers (NPRCs) are on site to talk with thousands of K-12 students, college students, educators and families about our research that is improving human and animal health.

While this year has been anything but normal, the NPRCs still look forward to talking with students, educators and families at SciFest All Access, which is this year’s virtual answer to the postponed in-person USA Science & Engineering Festival. The online event runs Sept. 26-Oct. 3, and the platform will remain open through October.

Once you are logged into the festival, you can visit the NPRCs in the "Exhibit Portal, Health & Medicine Zone II." Our exhibit booth includes links to NPRC.org, our collective website, as well as individual web pages for the seven centers, some of which were created specifically for SciFest All Access.

Visit the Yerkes SciFest page here. This and the other centers' pages are filled with educational resources and links to help you learn more about our research, the scientific advancements we're making and the care we provide our research animals.

You can also learn more by following the NPRCs on Twitter at @NPRCnews

Have questions for us? We’ll have NPRC representatives "on site" responding to SciFest's "Ask a Question" feature, and you can also interact with us via nprcoutreach@gmail.com

The NPRC representatives look forward to talking with you at SciFest!
